Savannah, Georgia, October 8, 2010 - American jihad, winning 16 Grand Annual Slamdance Film Festival Jury Prize for Best Documentary and the 6th International Muslim Film Festival Jury Prize for Best Documentary, will be screened on Friday, October 22 at 8: 00 pm at the Jepson Center located at 207 West York Street. Tickets are $ 6 and will be available beginning at 7:15 pm at the entrance to the auditorium located on Oglethorpe Avenue. The review is presented by Reel Savannah, an organization dedicated to showcasing the thought-provoking films to local audiences.

American jihad, which had its world premiere at the Slamdance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, is the film directorial debut Claywell Marcos. The film has continued to win critical acclaim both at home and abroad that shows in twelve U.S. film festivalsAnd in the elite international festivals in Canada, Ireland, Poland and Russia. Claywell will be present and will conduct a question and answer session after the screening.

As founder of Hype Media, Inc., with over 20 years of experience as award-winning commercial director, Mark Claywell has created and directed several advertising campaigns at national and international Fortune 500 companies. Claywell directed, shot, produced and edited most of the images of American Jihadist including interviews in Bosnia, Lebanon, Iran, England, Washington, DC, Boston and New York. This is his first feature film.
