Live to Dance - Paula Abdul is Back!

Posted by Gracie Tuesday, January 4, 2011 Labels:

“Live to Dance,” Paula Abdul’s big return to television (well, unless you count that odd Bravo reality show) premiered tonight on CBS — and the show had more in common with “American Idol” than one of its former judges. The other judges, by the way, are choreographer Travis Payne and Pussycat Dolls “founding member” Kimberly Wyatt (hey, we’re all going to learn another Pussycat Doll’s name!).
Welcome back, Paula.

Paula Abdul’s new TV Dance competition, Live To Dance is set to premiere on CBS Tuesday January 4. The show will feature amateur dancers competing for prizes. Anyhoo. An interview with fellow reality show chick Julie Chen (she hosts Big Brother) aired on CBS Sunday Morning today. The piece covered Paula’s past as a dancer and highly sought-after choreographer, hit recording artist–and of course–one of the judges on American Idol.

Tonight’s new episode of “Mysteries at the Museum” includes segments on a New York City museum which displayed an artifact from an airplane which brought dread and destruction to the city; and a metal staircase from the U.S. Embassy in Vietnam which is on display at the Gerald Ford Museum in Grand Rapids, Mich. “Mysteries at the Museum” airs at 9 on the Travel Channel (cable Channel 41).

Four bakers go head-to-head to have their cupcakes featured at the Tree Peoples' annual Harvest Moon Gala benefiting environmental conservation on a new episode of “Cupcake Wars.” The show airs at 9 on the Food Network (cable Channel 46).
You can stick with the Food Network at 10 for a new episode of “Chopped.” Tonight, the chefs must prepare goat brains in the appetizer round, and then are challenged to turn scraps into delicious entrees.
