A bloody fingerprint could have been the smoking-gun evidence that OJ Simpson convicted of the murders of his wife and her friend - but forensic experts did not lead detective Mark Fuhrman notes in time.

Fuhrman, who committed perjury in the Simpson trial on use of the word 'No', has revealed that he and his partner found a bloody footprint on the brass door to the home of football star turned actor shared with his wife Nicole, where she and friend Ron Goldman were killed.

Despite all the evidence accumulated against Simpson, a jury acquitted him of murder - and now regrets Fuhrman his discovery of fingerprints was observed not fast enough, it would have been evidence murderer.

Fuhrman reveals the letter was dropped by a locksmith hired by the family of Nicole when he took over the property in the days after the murder.
